With the release of “Landslide” in August, PARIS made it known this was the beginning of a fresh sonic trajectory. It’s now time for the next iteration to see the light of the day.

“Just Us” as PARIS explains is all about “that endless summer feeling”. Making a conscious effort to step out of the dark realms her music is often associated with, the producer has gone in search of something that feels authentically warm and positive.

Featuring the gifted vocal chords of Rromarin, “Just Us” is a lovely volcanic eruption of sound. A record that slowburning buildup drags you further and further in, with rhythmic percussion that acts like a form of hypnosis. Listen closely, and you’ll hear a beautiful tale of two people who are in the game of life together, bound by undying love.

As PARIS tells, “There’s a deliberate and continuous buildup that almost implodes at the halfway mark, stuttering chords and Rromain’s stacked vocals then ooze into play…it’s such a special moment.”
